General Summary:

The Early Education Leaders Institute is seeking an outstanding candidate for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position to assist grant PI’s in conducting, managing, and presenting research. This will be a one-year appointment with option for renewal.

Examples of Duties:

• . Draft at least 5 peer review journal articles per year
• . Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
• . Lead 1-2 funded research project activities, including quantitative and qualitative data collection
• . Convert data into reportable formats for presentations
• . Manage data infrastructure and overall project evaluation
• . Secure grant writing and draft research reports
• . Attend regular research team meetings
• . Other related duties as assigne

Qualifications:

• . Doctoral degree in early childhood education or related field
• . Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research
• . Candidate has previously published peer-review articles as an independent researcher
• . Effective communication and collaborative skills
• . Strong computer literacy skills and comfort learning new software programs including database management
• . Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and to respond efficiently and effectively to new, last minute and/or revised requests
