Summary of Position
The Department of Decision Sciences in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning fall 2024. The position will have responsibility for teaching required and elective graduate and undergraduate courses in business analytics. The standard teaching load for the positions is four courses per academic year. The Department of Decision Sciences offers courses in the Master of Business Analytics program, Master of Business Administration program, and in the undergraduate Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) option (major). Preference will be given to those candidates with research and teaching interests in optimization modeling, text mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a closely related area.

The Department of Decision Sciences is one of six departments in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. The Peter T. Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Operations Research, Operations Management, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field by August 2024, and should provide evidence of, or potential for, excellence in research, teaching, and service in a public research university setting.

Candidates should demonstrate skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment and an ability to cultivate external relations with community leaders, institutions, and stakeholders.
